Our Starlink installation team arrived on-site to perform the following scope of work:
To begin the installation process, a Starlink Obstruction Test was performed using the Starlink App to verify that the selected installation point achieved a “Good Experience” rating. The Starlink Standard dish was then securely mounted on the roof ridge using a ridgeline mount weighted with concrete slabs. This non-penetrating roof mount provides excellent stability while preserving the integrity of the roof surface.

The Starlink cable was then routed from the dish to the indoor where Gen3 WiFi mesh router was positioned for maximum coverage throughout the house. Plugged in the cable to router and it’s powered on. Then they activated the Starlink and configured the WiFi settings with SSID and password.

Then, they provide a brief orientation to the customer on how to manage and monitor their Starlink system using the Starlink App. This includes demonstrating how to access the app dashboard, check real-time connection quality, review network performance metrics and identify potential obstructions affecting signal strength.
Our team performed a Starlink alignment test to confirm the dish was optimally aligned at elevation angle and azimuth direction for satellite connectivity.

Then, the Starlink speed test was done to test the system’s internet performance. The metrics of download speed, upload speed and latency were being measured using the Starlink App. It’s important to note that Starlink can take up to 12 hours to optimize its connection with the satellite network fully. During this initial period, temporary speed fluctuations or brief dropouts may occur. However, once the system stabilizes, it delivers a reliable and high-speed internet connection.
